Joey Kramer

Drummers have a tough time earning any love, but they keep the song stitched together with their syncopated rhythmic playing. The Bronx born drummer and songwriter often handled cleanup duty for the band - hustling money that they were owed by venues before they could afford a small army to do it for them. He hasn't written many for the band, but he did scribble up Pandora's Box from their second album.

Joey Cramer looks younger than any of the other Aerosmith band members, but he's just as old as Joe Perry. Somehow he's managed to keep his youthful skin tone - probably by just waiting until after shows to get twisted instead of hiding his stash in chartreuse scarves to gobble up in the middle of a set. Unlike the rest of the band, he spends at least some time lifting weights. He could probably beat up the rest of them all at the same time if it ever came to that.

Like most of the other Aerosmith members, he's a rough and tumble dropout with little concern for classical music training. He started slumming around New York drumming for various bands in his early teens before he met up with the other Aerosmith members.

Some of the other band members call him "Kramedog" during off hours. He thinks that people with Aerosmith tattoos are awesome - so if you want to impress him, you should get it somewhere visible - like your forehead, or perhaps on your nose if you can get it done small enough.
